FAQ
Can I wash my car after paint protection film was installed?
Not right away. We typically say wait 4-5 days before washing your car. We always suggest to hand wash, but if need to go through an automated one, pick a touchless car wash.
Is paint protection film the same as clear bra?
Yes, also known as PPF but before clear bra there was the leather “bra”, which was fitted to the front of the car. When PPF was introduced, it was easier to call it clear bra because the leather version was the original.
Can paint protection film be removed?
Yes, but there is always a slight chance that it can pull paint depending on the quality and age of the paint.
Do I need paint correction before adding PPF?
It depends. Even brand new cars can have paint blemishes or fine scratches. We do an inspection of the paint after initial wash to determine if it needs advanced paint correction. At that point, we would connect and discuss our options.
Can I use sealants or waxes on my PPF?
Both are great ways to keep your car looking great. We can’t be liable for any damage that occurred when you applied them, but can always reach out to us if you want to add a ceramic coating on top of it to give it a hydrophobic top coat.
