Nano Ceramic Coating
keep it glossy
stay protected
Ceramic coatings are a liquid form of polymer that is hand applied to certain parts of a vehicle to create a hydrophobic and protective layer that makes a chemical bond. This layer is stronger than the paints clear coat which makes coatings last much longer than your traditional waxes or sealants. Invest in your new vehicle and keep that show room shine longer for years to come. Get in touch with our professionals at Tintmasters to discuss your project.

FAQ
How long does ceramic coating last?
The lifespan of a ceramic coating depends on the product and maintenance. Professional-grade ceramic coatings can last anywhere from 2 to 5 years or even longer with proper care. Routine maintenance, such as regular washing and avoiding harsh chemicals, helps maximize durability.
Will ceramic coating protect against scratches, chips, and other damage?
Ceramic coating provides a layer of protection but is not bulletproof. It is resistant to minor scratches and swirl marks caused by improper washing, but it won’t protect against deep scratches, rock chips, or physical damage. For added protection, ceramic coating can be combined with paint protection film (PPF), which provides a physical barrier against chips and heavier impacts.
Is it okay to wax the ceramic coating?
We say no to waxes, where some sealants will be fine, as long as it doesn’t contain any carnauba wax and is pH-neutral.
How often should I wash my car?
We recommend every 2 weeks and to stay away from touchless or automatic car washes. They are convenient, we know, but the soaps they use aren’t pH balanced which is crucial to keeping the coating in working condition. Using a towel to dry car is also beneficial to avoid water spots.
Besides my paint, where else can I apply ceramic coating?
Depending on the part, some coatings are specifically made for different materials. Wheels, plastic trim, interior panels and seats are some of the options. Give us a call or email for additional questions.
